Overview
Join Women in Science Japan (WISJ) for their 3rd Annual Flagship Event, an inspiring half-day program bringing together students, professionals, and allies across Japan’s STEM community. This year’s gathering focuses on leadership, innovation, and sustainability, uniting voices that are shaping the future of science and technology.
The event features a keynote address from Mari Ono, Partner at IBM Japan, who will share insights on empowering women in science, fostering innovation, and advancing sustainable impact in STEM fields.
Heather Dobbin will facilitate a roundtable discussion designed to spark dialogue among participants, encouraging cross-disciplinary collaboration and personal reflection on leadership and inclusion within Japan’s science ecosystem.
Attendees can expect a blend of thought-provoking talks, hands-on discussions, and meaningful networking, all within a supportive, bilingual environment. A Japanese-English bilingual table will be available during the roundtable session to ensure broad participation.
