Event Overview
Years ago, when it was Tokyo Fuck Up Nights, I got lost looking for Barry's in Nakameguro because I was highly intrigued by an event dedicated to… fucking up. Which I have done countless times. On the way there I met a fellow 迷子, who turned out to be Misha Yurchenko, now my friend and fellow coach. His work centers on mindfulness and he just published a new book that I had the good fortune to be an early reader of, so please check it out. Anyway, I've wanted to be a speaker for years, but the timing wasn't right due to sensitive issues surrounding the story I want to tell. Now the time has arrived! And it'll be held in my home turf of Venture Cafe Tokyo's Thursday Gathering on July 23rd. If you want to hear one of the times in which I fucked up (sorry, officially now it's "failed") and what I learned, please come and join us for this session. There's free beer and I'll likely be down to hang out a bit afterwards as I'll have a vulnerability hangover and will be in need of support.
