Moshimo Mindfulness First Session

  • Moshimo Café Hayama, Kanagawa, 240-0112 Japan (map)

I’ve spent a lot of time noticing how our minds tend to spiral into what ifsWhat if I mess up? What if I’m not enough? These questions can stir up stress, doubt, and disconnection before our day even begins. At Moshimo Space Hayama, a place built on curiosity and imagination, I want to invite a different kind of wondering: What if you could start your morning with steadiness instead of scramble?

That’s the spirit behind Moshimo Mindfulness, a series I’m leading every Monday and Friday in October. Whether you’re completely new to mindfulness or you already have a regular practice, this space is designed to help you meet the day with a little more calm and clarity. We’ll gather before the world gets noisy—just an hour to breathe, reset, and return to ourselves.

These sessions are gentle but intentional. You’ll learn ways to respond to stress instead of react, to anchor your attention when it starts to drift, and to treat yourself with more kindness. For me, this kind of practice isn’t about escaping the world—it’s about showing up to it with more presence, even when things get messy. What if you gave yourself that kind of support?

We’ll meet at the beautiful Moshimo Space here in Hayama from 7:30 to 8:30 AM, starting October 6 through 31 (note: no session on Monday, October 13). The session fee is 1,000 JPY, cash only. For now, drop-ins are welcome—just bring yourself, your curiosity, and maybe a warm layer. I’d love to sit with you.

These sessions are for anyone, from complete beginners to seasoned practitioners, ready to:

✨ Responding to stress with clarity, not reaction.

✨ Finding focus and stillness amidst the noise.

✨ Cultivating a kinder, more compassionate inner voice.

✨ Building a sustainable habit of self-care.
